Love this shop! The food for takeout is delicious and they have some nice clothing items, music, and jewelry. Was craving taro and got baked and faalifu (cooked in coconut milk) both so good and craving definitely satiated. Update 10/20/2022 Still consistently such good food, large portions. Got a plate with Taro, Bananas, Sapa Sui, Luau Mamoe, and then some other items like Panikeke and crackers and cookies. Ladies there were so sweet, everything was delicious and plenty.

Online it shows that they are open on Fridays. But when I drove an hour to get there on a Friday, they were closed. Did something change or has someone decided not to bother to correct the business hrs online? It just may save people the trip especially if they're coming from out of town. Just a thought. I heard the food is really good though.

If you want a taste of the Pacific come try Polynesian Island Luau. The owner of the shop she is so sweet, honestly she treats you like family. They have clothes, material to make clothes, music, jewelry & hot food. They are only open Friday, Saturday & Sunday. I suggest you order a hot plate tell them drizzle a little more coconut milk on your taro & ask for some palusami it’s another side item you would love to try. While our mother was sick (fighting cancer; the owner took care of our mom all the time. So this shop has a special place in our hearts.. This shop is only open on the weekend. Don’t take my word for it, try it yourself.

This place is my go to when I’m craving good Samoan food! It’s clean and food is always prepared safely. They also have clothing and jewelry for sale too! The price is fair and the people are nice! The reason I gave 4 star because the younger girl who usually works the food counter comes off a little rude and annoyed. But I’m probably just catching her on bad days, won’t stop me from buying their food I’m just saying I wish she wasn’t the one serving my food because her energy gives me anxiety! Location is easy to find, and long time customers usually find parking at the kfc unless you don’t mind double parking. I love their Ota and honestly can eat everything on their menu if I can afford to splurge! Right across the street from cow palace and the hood is right around the corner. Love this place and will always continue eating here!

Today I was craving some authentic Polynesian food so I had to go get a plate from the Polynesian Luau on Geneva. Went inside and waited on a small line. This is a local islander spot for the area of San Francisco it's in. I got myself a to go plate which consisted of tar, banana, and your choice of 3 entrees. I chose the corned beef with cabbage the sapasui and the chicken thigh. Everything I got was really good and hit the spot taro and banana are soaked in coconut milk they absorb the milk and give it a sweet nutty flavor. Chicken thigh was perfectly seasoned and moist. Finally the sapasui probably one of my favorites. It's packed with ginger carrots and cabbage I could eat a container of spapsui alone it's that good. I got 3lbs of food in the to go plate for under 25$ you can't beat that . I had leftovers for the next day. The staff who work here are very kind in helping newcomers feel at ease when ordering ask questions they won't steer you wrong. If you get the chance and go in the morning make sure to get an order of Pani Popo hella good. Keep up the great work
